As I pulled out of the parking lot that day, I felt lighter than I had in years. It was a brilliantly sunny, azure blue-sky day, and as the sun streamed through my window and warmed my face, I felt like I was driving into a new life of limitless possibilities and potential.

I was leaving my nursing career, a career that had provided security for my family and had been a part of my life for 20 years. I was trading this with the intent of starting my own business despite having no entrepreneurial experience. So, there was fear there also, sitting in the passenger seat that day. Fear and uncertainty, fear of change, fear of failure, fear of not being good enough to make it on my own.

I was heading into the unknown, into unchartered territory with little more than a strong awareness that I needed a change and my husband’s support and belief in me. I knew I needed to find my place, my voice. I needed to spread my wings and take a leap. I needed to see if I could fly. So, I jumped.

What did “jumping” look like for me?  It looked like quitting a very good paying nursing job to become an entrepreneur. It looked like trading security for uncertainty. It looked like a mid-life career change. It looked like taking risks and hoping for the best. It looked like discovering my strengths and confronting my weaknesses and challenging the beliefs that held me back. It looked like having to learn something new every. single. day.  It looked like faith and fear, strength and weakness, success and failure, courage and despair. It looked like leaving the familiar while finding my way home. And it looks like this over, and over, and over again.

This has been my journey and I have learned so much along the way! My passion and desire is to share with you everything that I’ve learned! I know that your journey will look completely different than mine, and that’s ok. I also know that the insights, tools, and knowledge I have gained can apply to anyone, and that they can change your life.

I can’t promise you that the way will always be smooth or easy or that you’ll never wonder if you’re headed in the right direction. What I will promise you, however, is support, honesty, and 100% belief in your own genius to create the life you’ve always been meant for. I promise to be a safe space, to set aside judgement, and to remind you of your beauty and brilliance when you’ve forgotten it.

So what do you say? Are you ready to take a leap? How about we jump together…
